A field-recording-style survey of Turkish Cypriot folk music — the wedding türküs, çiftetellis and karşılama dance tunes (Dillirga, Kozan, Al Yemeni Mor Yemeni, Kebapçıların Şişi) that circulated on gramophone discs and cassette reissues across Lefkoşa, Gazimağusa, Girne and Leymosun. Sourced entirely from Turkish Cypriot performers and folklore-preservation ensembles — Grup Net's heritage-archive recordings, municipal folk-dance troupes, and veteran singers Cemal Özgürsel, Yıltan Taşçı and Cahit Asova — deliberately excluding Greek Cypriot and mainland Turkish repertoire to stay true to a "North Cyprus only" brief.
